The album won a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album, while the single "Never Alone" with Kirk Franklin won Best Gospel Performance/Song. In addition to the Grammy Awards, she has also received recognition from the NAACP Image Awards, the GMA Dove Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the Soul Train Awards, the People's Choice Awards and many more. Following the success of her first two albums, Kelly's third studio album, Inspired by True Events, comes out on August 9, 2019. On the festival circuit, Tori Kelly has appeared at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis and the SunFest in West Palm Beach, Fla.
