Tulane Green Wave Baseball TicketsTulane University, situated in the heart of New Orleans, La., was founded in 1834. The first baseball team took to the field nearly 60 years later in 1893. One of Tulane’s oldest and the nation’s strongest baseball rivalries with LSU began at their very first meeting in 1893. The rivalry culminated in the annual Battle of the Rag game, named for the flag trophy with both teams’ mascots on it. The game was played yearly until 2009, often selling out both schools’ stadiums. The rivalry remains strong with Tulane winning the past four matches. Established in 1977, the Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes extraordinary accomplishments of student-athletes. Some inductees from Green Wave baseball include Michael Aubrey, Brandon Belanger, Jared Berkowitz, Brian Bogusevic, Barry Butera and Ben Abadie. The entire 2001 and 2005 baseball teams were also inducted into the Hall of Fame. Grab your tickets to see Tulane Green Wave baseball at StubHub.
