Do the USC Trojans have any rivalries in baseball? Two things are at the heart of most collegiate sports rivalries: conferences and geographical proximity. Both of those factors come into play when considering USC's top rival, the UCLA Bruins. Not only do both schools play in the PAC-12 Conference, but they are crosstown rivals, both calling Los Angeles home. Each year, USC and UCLA compete in what is known as the "Crosstown Cup," which sees each school not only compete against its own opponents but against each other to see who is better overall. One of the sports included in the crosstown rivalry is baseball, which USC leads in head-to-head matchups over UCLA by an impressive 263–143 margin. The schools will play four times in the 2020 season on March 8 and May 21–23.
