Vanderbilt Memorial Gym has been the host of the NCAA Tournament on four separate occasions, most recently in 1993. Perhaps the most memorable was in 1984 when future Hall of Fame member Charles Barkley sat down at mid court after his Auburn Tigers lost to the Kentucky Wildcats in the championship game.
