Virtual Riot Tickets
Savour the irie dubstep-inspired EDM of Virtual Riot
Virtual Riot is the DJ stage name of Christian Valentin Brunn, who is also an electronic music producer. Based in Germany, he specialises in riddim, dubstep and EDM. He's been a regular on the Beatport charts in the wake of over 15 extended play singles. He's also done well on the Billboard Dance and Electronic charts, even though the majority of his releases have been via digital channels exclusively, a measure of the strength of his composing and arranging skills in a very crowded market. He's a cut above the rest and a real crowd-puller, so you'll find it really easy to buy or sell Virtual Riot tickets on StubHub.
Hitting the charts with a dose of riddim and rhyme
Virtual Riot plays what's been called "non-traditional" EDM, a result of his deeply ingrained love of the reggae-inspired aspects of electronica. His trick lies in combining old school rhythms and loops with lyrics that are straight out of the latest pop culture textbook, and mixing it all into a heady EDM brew. His closest musical reference in terms of peers is probably someone like Savant – he has a similar edge that makes his sound instantly recognisable as just a little bit different. The international spotlight turned his way in 2016 when he released the "Chemistry" EP, which was his twelfth, and featured collaborations with Funtcase and Dubloadz that struck a chord with dubstep fans over in the USA, propelling it to number 20 on the Billboard US Dance Charts. He followed up on this success two years later with "German Engineering", this time coming within one spot of cracking the top 10 on the Billboard US Dance Sales charts. This is one accomplished EDM artist, and we can highly recommend Virtual Riot tickets if you like yours with a dash of riddim.
Collabs that showcased fresh German EDM talent
Virtual Riot has collaborated with many more dubstep and EDM artists as well – in fact, most of the tracks on his extended plays have been collabs, with the result that fans who bought them were being constantly introduced to fresh new talent. In that sense, he has made a large contribution to the dubstep and EDM scenes in Germany with his own compositions, let alone with all the other songs and albums that he's produced. Some of his more popular releases have featured artists like Kill The Noise and Flux Pavilion. If you're really an EDM archivist, go check out Your Personal Tranquilizer as well, the name under which he started out as a young producer of future garage and ambient dubstep.
