The Walter Pyramid is a 4,000-seat, indoor multipurpose arena on the campus of Long Beach State University. The Long Beach, Calif., venue opened in 1994 and is one of only a few truly pyramid-shaped buildings in the United States. The shape of the venue allows it to rise 18 stories above Long Beach, with impressive views of the skyline. The exterior of the building is covered with corrugated aluminum.
