Opened in January 2003, the Watsco Center is located in Coral Gables, Florida, on the campus of the University of Miami, which owns the venue. The seating capacity is 7,972. The center is home to the university's Miami Hurricanes men's and women's basketball teams. When either team is not playing home games, the venue hosts concerts, trade shows, conventions, conferences and lecture series. Banquet space is available. The best seats at this venue are located in the front rows of the grandstands. The farther up you go, the smaller the center stage action will seem. If you'd like to socialize with pals or clients, you can rent a suite for up to 16 people on the Premium Seating level, where an in-suite server will bring you any food and drinks you order from the catering menu.
