Winnipeg Jets Tickets
Headquartered in the heart of Manitoba, Canada, the Winnipeg Jets are a professional hockey team that plays in the Western Conference of the National Hockey League. Originally known as the Atlanta Thrashers that was founded in 1995 based in Atlanta, Ga., the Thrashers had very little success and needed change. They moved to Winnipeg in 2011 after being sold to True North Sports & Entertainment. The name was changed from the Thrashers to the Jets in an effort to honor the previous hockey team that was based out of Winnipeg from 1972 to 1996 before that club relocated and became the Phoenix Coyotes. After the move was completed, they became the first franchise since the Hartford Whalers to do such in 1997. Additionally, the Jets are affiliated with the Manitoba Moose, who play in the American Hockey League (AHL), who are also owned by the same ownership group. Ownership has both clubs practicing in the Iceplex. On match days, both do battle at the Bell MTS Place. Get your Winnipeg Jets tickets today at StubHub.
