The Dropkick Murphys from Quincy, Massachusetts have been at the forefront of the
Celtic punk rock scene since they first got together back in 1996. Dropkick Murphys have long been known as one of the most
energetic and skilled bands on the scene and are constantly touring and playing sold out shows for their legions of loyal

The Dropkick Murphys are always touring and they annually have a week of shows at the House of Blues
in Boston right around Saint Patrick's Day. This year those shows will be held on March 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th, with two
shows on Saturday the 15th, an early show at 1:00 and an evening performance at 6:00. The band also has shows all over the
country lined up with March stops in Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Birmingham, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Sayreville,
and Huntington. After the hectic string of shows in Boston for Saint Patrick's Day the band will spend April recovering before
heading out for shows in Orlando, Saint Petersburg, and Camden in May. be sure to keep checking back on StubHub because Dropkick

About the Band
Dropkick Murphys first got together
in 1996 and quickly gained a reputation in their hometown of Boston for raucous live shows that never failed to get the audience
worked into a frenzy. The band released several EPs before signing to Hellcat Records and releasing their debut album Do or
Die, which was produced by Lars Frederiksen of Rancid. Soon after the 1998 release of their debut album, original singer Mike
McColgan left the band to become a fireman. The band replaced McColgan with Al Barr and remained with Hellcat Records through
2007 when they released an album on the band's own label. Dropkick Murphys have toured with Aerosmith and Bruce Springsteen,
and during the Bruce Springsteen tour joined him on stage for the songs American Land and Glory Days. The band has released
eight albums to date: Do or Die, The Gang's All Here, Sing Loud Sing Proud!, Blackout, The Warrior's Code, The Meaning of
Times, Going Out in Style, and 2013's Signed and Sealed in Blood.
Dropkick Murphys were hometown
favorites from the start but really started to gain national attention after the Mighty Mighty Bosstones chose the band as
their opening act during one of their tours. This helped Dropkick Murphys gain attention from people all over the world. They
gained even more exposure when their song Shiping up to Boston was featured in the Academy Award wining movie The Departed.
The band continues to record and tour and seems to get more and more popular as the years go by.
